Knock off loose mud to remove dirt from uppers and studs
Wipe down with a damp cloth using cool water (not hot water)
Stuff boots with newspaper or paper towels to retain shape and absorb moisture—excess moisture can weaken seams and cause the uppers to separate from the soleplate.
Condition leather with beeswax or leather balm
Check and replace studs
Let the boots air dry (avoid heat sources) for 24-48 hours
Store boots in a dry, ventilated environment to prevent mold or mildew - ventilated boot bagswork well

Metal studs were pushing through the thin inserts within the second practice, so much so that I had to tape over the inserts just to get through my last practice.
