Tonga Rugby Crew Socks

These Tonga Rugby socks are comfortable, stylish, and most definitely unique. The cushioned bottom and nylon, cotton, spandex blend give them a cozy feel. The black foot and leg with geometric design are all in crisp, bold colors that won't fade. Much like the sport of rugby, these socks have a character all their own.

The Tonga National Rugby Union team, formed in 1923, is nicknamed 'Ikale Tahi' (Sea Eagles). They start matches with a war dance called the 'Sipi Tau', making the pre-game ceremony with teams like the All Blacks, who perform the Haka, quite interesting. Tonga's emblem hosts a white dove, symbolizing peace. However, 'peaceful' is not an adjective that describes the squad on the pitch. Tonga is a force to be reckoned with on the international rugby stage, sitting at #16 in the World Rugby Rankings, as of December 2021.
