Western Michigan University Women's Rugby

Western Michigan University Bronco Rugby is a true endeavor of passion. A self funded, student-athlete led, club sport, with all volunteer coaches and administrators, Bronco Rugby has risen to the highest levels of the USA Rugby Collegiate D1-AA rankings on multiple occasions. This includes trips to the national finals matches in XV’s and 7’s in 2019, as well as being a perennial force to be reckoned with in the competitive Mid-American Rugby Conference. The Broncos have had their share of exceptional players who have gone on to compete at higher levels, such as with the U.S.A. Eagles and Major League Rugby. However, the program mostly focuses on the holistic growth of every player and is mostly proud of all the fine young men who have enhanced their collegiate careers, and each other’s lives, through the camaraderie and shared experiences within Bronco Rugby.
