St. Ignatius Rugby

We are thrilled to announce the commencement of the inaugural season for St. Ignatius Rugby in this exciting modern era. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the school proudly boasted a formidable rugby team until American Football took precedence. Nevertheless, rugby has maintained its fervent following among both current students and esteemed alumni. Many have continued their rugby journey, participating in clubs locally and even further afield, representing universities nationwide, competing at the professional level, and even donning the coveted Eagles jersey. The resounding support and palpable momentum within the school community have culminated in the official reinstatement of rugby at St. Ignatius, marking a momentous milestone in our sports legacy.
