    New York’s first professional rugby team as a member of Major League Rugby began competing in 2019 after a few exhibition games the year prior.   Rugby New York aims to “use Rugby’s core values of teamwork, respect and discipline, to educate, inspire and connect with” the community.  The team's home stadium, MCU Park at the heart of Coney Island, is a nostalgic landmark for the Brooklyn Community. The state of the art facility represents Coney Island's promise for the future, while reminding us of its glorious past.
