STADE DE FRANCE, SAINT-DENIS (PARIS)
How to get there:
Paris CDG is the main airport and is very easy to get into town from. You can either jump on
shuttle buses or the local train lines called the RER. There are a few ways to make your way
to the Stade de France from the centre too. You can choose to go on the metro to the St
Denis-Porte de Paris stop. Alternatively you can go on the RER B or D to the Stade de France
stops.
Where the rugbyās happening:
The Stade de France is one of Europe's mega-stadiums, it was built especially for the football
World Cup that took place in 1998 in France. The Stade de France will host 10 RWC 2023
games including the opener that promises fireworks between the All Blacks and France.
Where to get some beers:
The Marais district is known for getting quite lively in the evenings and has an abundance of
nice bars to get some drinks, places like Le Barav on Rue Charles-FranƧois Dupuis or Le
Piment CafƩ on Rue de SevignƩ are good bets for a nice night out.
What to visit whilst Iām there:
Paris Is obviously so big that your best bet is to pick a few key places to visit, the Eiffel Tower
is one if you havenāt seen it before and the Louvre is also so grandiose. But maybe a place
thatās slightly more under the radar is the MusĆ©e dāOrsay where you can see some great art
from Van Gogh to Manet in under an hour and for just ā¬12.
