Gilbert Kuro 8 Stud Soft Ground Rugby Boots

Forwards have a crucial job to drive the pack to victory using their strength and power. During these times it is essential that they have they are equipped to deliver these skills to the best of their ability.

This is why Gilbert have produced the Kuro 8S boots, specifically designed with the forward play in mind. A boot perfect for scrummaging, the Kuro 8S has a XSO 8 outsole made with soft ground in mind to give added stability and grip to the forward player so they can erupt when it matters most.

The super light PU upper offers solidity for the foot without restricting agility and speed and the rigid TPU board insole with forefoot flex keeps players in position and ready to remove their opposition from the game.

Gilbert have designed a new Pro-GIL-FB footbed with heel raise for a more dynamic response on the field. The Kuro boots come with 15/18 mm aluminium studs specifically for forward play. To ensure everyone has the opportunity to experience such a boot, the 8 stud option has a Prozone wide fit with adaptable lacing system which allows players to adjust the boots to their feet.

These boots arrive with a stud tightening tool. We recommend that you tighten your studs before wearing your boots for the first time.
