Training the core provides many athletic benefits including injury prevention and performance enhancement. Coach Norman believes core work should serve as the foundation for all training activities, and must be a priority in any training program. The first section on Core Stability includes more than 15 exercises designed to strengthen the muscles that support and stabilize the spine. The Dying Bug Progression, Stability Ball Supine Resistance, and Transverse Cable Rotation are a few examples of stability exercises utilized by Norman to train elite level athletes. The next series includes over 25 exercises for Core Strengthening, which is broken down into sagital, rotary, and multi-planar movements.
