The British and Irish Lions celebrated their 125th anniversary in 2013 with a victorious tour down under.
The Lions,a touring side that uses players from England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland, swept a three game series with Australia. The next tour will be New Zealand in 2017.
The original logo featured a lion, but in 1924, the crest was changed to represent the four unions. It was also in 1924, on the tour to South Africa, that the team officially adopted the name Lions.
